I'm sure this has been done before.

There's a guy that has a 5 speed transmission, T Case, drivelines, etc for sale for $3500 in the classifieds on here.

I was wondering, would it be bolt in? Or would I have to fabricated parts? How about the ECM, would I need a manual transmission one??

I'm not a fan of automatic transmissions... just don't shift when I want them to.

I had a friend do a swap in a 94' so I'm not sure what you need for ECM stuff on a 24v.

All the small parts it what will make it drag out.

Master and Slave cylinder's

Cluth Pedal and a smaller brake pedal.

Shifter, shifter boots

Cut a hole in the floor, etc... ...

I did it to mine. You will need:

  • transmission
  • Clutch
  • Flywheel
  • Bellhousing
  • Rear transmission mount (at least on the 2WD)
  • Drive shafts (On the 4WD you'll need both)
  • Master/Slave Cylinder
  • Pedals
  • Hole in the Floor
  • Shifter
  • Shifter boot
  • Re-wiring safety switches

The module that you have will work but for the cruise to work on my '95 I had to retain the TPS. On the 4WD you may need a different output shaft for the transmission, I don't know. Best thing I did to my truck. I picked up 3-mpg when I did mine.
