Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Auto to manual

See truck in sig. transmission appear to be on its way out and wanted to know which manual transmission would work and is there anyone or any shops that specialize in this.

Blumenthals comes to mind, I'll be swapping my 5 speed for a 6 speed this winter so I'll have a 5 speed for sale with the heavy duty input shaft after I am done.

Try driving a beafed up auto. No comparison to stock and you might change your mind.

There have been a bunch of posts by folks who have done it. It's a lot of work and like TRAMPLINEMAN stated drive a modded auto, I thought about doing the swap and now I'm really glad I didn't.
