Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) auto to manual

Hi, Looking to switch my auto to an nv5600. Didnt find a whole lot of info on this in a search except that it is a hassle. I know of one guy locally that did it on his 01, but hes not crazy about doing it again. Need to find a shop in western md, south central pa area that has experience with this. The 47re is in great condition, always ran amsoil through it, have valve body, t/c and shift kit upgraded. Just tired of driving a boring auto, but dont want to start over on another truck. I expect it will be pricey, but it will beat buying a truck with a manual trans.
