The computer is the easiest part to fix, just turn off the automatic controls and activate the manual pieces. Marco has done it before and am sure a competent dealer tech could also.

The biggest obstacle is finding a donor truck for all the little pieces. These trucks are all built to interchange on the harnesses and chassis. Its really is a simple swap process IF all the pieces are available.

Considering the demand for a manual truck resale is probably not an issue if the conversion is done correctly.

Have you done that swap as the OP inquired about or do you just want to run your mouth because I advised him correctly?

With your 10K plus posts and my sultry less than 300 posts, we can all see who runs their mouth the most here.

And Mr. Barlow, your "correct advise" is just another opinion; quite different from fact.

Well thanks to everyone that answered my post I couldn't take it anymore

I am a veteran of many changeovers projects, autos to manuals, taking three junk vehicles and making one roadworthy vehicle from all of the parts, etc. .

But I now ask myself at 50+ years old... What is my time worth????

I pass on this kind of thing a lot quicker than I used to.

Still miss doing it sometimes though... . :{
