Auto to Stick

Anybody else with an auto wish they had bought a stick? Is it reasonable to switch truck over? I don't want to trade in because I like the truck. If you all say it's not reasonable then I'll learn to like my auto (might take a little help from Goerends though).

I thought of trying this but it seems there's more to it than just mechanical changes. I would think you would need to change the computer at some point to make things work properly, I've seen them on Ebay so I guess it can be done. Some one out there has had to try this on a 3rd gen by now, any thoughts guys?

My first Cummins was an auto. The next two were the 6 speed manual. I have never regretted it one time!
