auto tran lags

my 95 3500 has 145000 on it and the other day it started to act up going in to overdrive. it has been serviced reg and is the first problem that i have had with it but i went ahead and changed the fluid and filter yesterday with no luck it still seem to run up to 50 befor it will go in unless i let up on it then it will go in and lockup no other problems in 1-2-3 goes right up threw them nice once its in its ok. any help

Give your TPS a few squirts with contact cleaner where the shaft comes out and work the linkage back and forth a few times. That might help.
