Auto trans 6 speed

hi,

Does the 6. 7 with the 68re have the ability to be manually shifted like the Alison Auto that has just come out in the new chevs? is it on the stick or do you actually move the shift leaver

your assistance would be appreciated

It's the same as the Chevy with a +/- on the column...

68RFE and Exhaust Brake

And it works very, very nice... select the maximum gear you would like it to shift up to or down shift it as you like. It makes the exhaust brake that much more useful. I often will select 4th while driving around in town and with the exhaust brake on very seldom use the foot brake unless I need to come to a complete stop. If you do a search in this forum there are some pictures of the end of the shifter that shows the + & - switch.
