Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Auto trans external filter

How many microns should the filter be? I do not want to restrict fluid flow. I have a remote filter setup, now i need to buy a filter to screw on it. Maby i could acquire one at napa. This is for my 97 3500. Thanks BOB ALLER

Bob, I use a(Napa Gold 1553) filter on my truck. Had it on for 10 years w/o any problems.
