Auto Trans in NC

I have an auto trans that is beginning to slip. Are there any members in the central NC area that have already had transmission upgrades or replacements?

I would like to drive a modified truck/trans and get a feel for the changes you made.

Good representation from most of the aftermarket auto makers, I would contact each one of these guys and drive them all to get a good feel of what is available. One more thing when compareing keep in mind who has what upgrades to the engine as it can be misleading to think one is better because of the power of the engine.
