Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Auto Trans Problem-Help!

2001 auto w/ 50k does not want to downshift when coming to a stop. Feels as if it wants to start in 3rd and jumps to a lower gear when rpms increase. Manually shifts thru all gears with good smooth power and no slippage. Anyone know what the problem could be. Help appreciated.

Probably governor solenoid and pressure sensor. Easy fix. Drop the pan and replace the parts without dropping the valvebody. Parts will be about $175-200. Takes about 1 hour
