Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Auto Trans Question

Just got back from first serious tow 10K Toy Hauler over mountains etc. On flat land in O. D. if I use too much throtle, the Tach moves up 2 to 3 hundred RPM. What is slipping???

That's your Torque Converter clutch slipping. Time to save and save quickly! It's also time to research, and call around to find the best Transmission Vendor for YOU! There are a few good ones out there.
