auto trans shift problems

Are you sure it is 1-2 and not 2-3? If it happens at very light throttle in neighborhood driving around 20-25 mph check the front band for proper setting. Too loose and it will cause it to hunt.

My truck did that after a heavy tow, dealer replaced two parts. Runs great now - even while towing! Should be a warranty issue.

What two parts. Mine has been doing it since I can remember. It's at 41K now.

Mine shifts good 1-2, 2-3 but 3-4 shifts really fast. Does not hold 3rd for more than a few seconds and then goes to 4th. Any ideas?
