Were is the best place to put the trans temp sensor in the pan or on one of the lines.

barry the best place is in the line that comes out of the drivers side front of the trans , this is fluid coming directly from the TC and will always be the hottest . dodge has a line that has a cooler port built in , that is the best one to use , though its a pain to install .

Ditto on the line to the cooler. For about 45 bucks you can by the thermowell kit that installs inline and takes about 45 minutes to insatll. Real easy, all you need is a tubing cutter and 2 wrenches. No difficult line changes and about half the price. Ill send you a pic if you want. I got it from www.jannettyracing.com Its not listed on there site, call them for it. Great people there too.

Thanks for the response guys i am having it installed next monday and i will put it were you said. Barry

If your changeing the line to the Dodge line that has a port in it already remember to remove the check valve in the heat exchanger or there will be too much restriction in the line. If your installing a port kit in the line then disregard.
