You have to drain the pan.

A standard size allen won't fit. You have to grind some off the end to make it fit. It's on the drivers side. I think it's the only one that fits that size, not sure. I also think the other allen is for shift points. Call Bill K. and ask what he recommends. I wouldn't just turn it up blindly. I forget how many #'s of pressure per turn.

Good luck, Garrett

BWB,

I know that Bill K. said 3 turns max @ 3 p. s. i. per turn (counter clockwise). And upon doing this it will shift firmer a little later. The other adjusting screw will adjust shift points earlier or later

by a few M. P. H. Am I correct in guessing, since I see no steenkin' adjusting screws from the outside, that I need to drop the pan to get at them? I hate to bother Bill K. with D. A. questions that he has answered a million times. Do members of TDR get a discount from him as well as awesome advice?

Sorry to be a PIA

Eric

Yup, Gotta drain it.............

With the pan off you'll see it easily. Depending on how many miles you have it's a good opportunity to do a fluid & filter change. I cut my tee in for the transmission temp gauge while it was empty. You can also get an older line from the dealer that has one built in. Going that route when I get my upgrades. Just some food for thought.
