Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Auto Transmission Lines?

Noticed that one of my transmission tubes going into the bottom of the cooler is dented. My concern is with the restriction will the 47RE overheat.

Any experience with installing larger diameter transmission lines or a second cooler?

I worked on a truck a couple of months ago that had the lines on the cooler where they hook to the hoses smashed pretty good. I put the cooler back on the way it was because the guy has a transmission temp gauge on it and even snow plowing this winter he has not had any problems with the transmission getting hot. Matt
