Kinda new to TDR discussions. Trying to figure out how to navigate this site. Have '95 (210K) 4x4 2500 autom. transmission. Recently had it serviced. After week or so it exhibited delayed shifting and hunting or slight surge feeling to next shift. Seems to be in all shifts from 1 to 3 this shows up, except lockups are fine. At times it shifts fine and certainly did prior to servicing. Shop removed pan and rechecked and every thing was looking fine, absolutely clean--even the original draining and pan was very clean, no debris, no burned oil smell. They suggest it could be some internal seals that are letting fluid slip by. Could seals be effected by new fluid. They verified they used correct fluid. Are there any effective additives that help seals without harming anything else? Throttle linkage was verified ok. Hoping its ok for 1200-1500 mi rd trip, Modesto, Ca. -Tijuana(San Yesidro,Ca. )-Carson City, Nev-Modesto. Any suggestions welcome. thks. LW
