Until i can get my transmission rebuilt do you think this will work for a while with my mods or will it be a waste of money??

Do i need to add a Shift Kit to the VB or will it be included with the VB?

I have been running whats in my sig for months, the comp never comes off 5x5 except to tow (3x3) and I have no trans mods done yet. have not had a problem. my truck just turned 70k to though

When running 10-20mph and I floor it on 5X5 my engine runs up to 3500rpm then the transmission catchs... ... . my transmission is slipping... .

Weak link is the trans. I painfully waited until I had mine DTT'ed and then did sticks and comp. Nothing like putting the power to the ground. Of course there's never enough - Mach 4s and big huffer next . . .

I ran for a while on just a vb from DTT. I only had the 120hp chip and 275's at the time. Before I did the vb I could do what you're talking about when I was pulling a trailer, it'd rev, but not accelerate. After the vb it held. The vb should have the shift kit installed. I then bought a full transmission and proceeded to add quite a bit more power. I think it'll hold for you, but any more power you're gonna need a better transmission.
