Hi Fellas,

We'll be moving to Arizona tentatively mid-March. I'll be towing my trailer load of Ducatis, so may need my wife's Charger hauled if she doesn't feel up to the drive. I have looked into auto transport companies, and thought I might put a feeler out here in case someone was heading that way and it could help us both out. The haul would be from Bloomsbury, NJ(near I-78, exit 3) to Wickenburg, AZ.

Thanks,

Tom

I looked at moving a car from close to Detroit to someplace on the west coast so I could go and pick it up. . would have liked to have it brought to Spokane but the best I could do was 1. 65 a loaded mile... . so it was cheaper for me to round trip it with a trailer... and visit family... If you find someone for less who is headed this way... I still need mine moved but I'm waiting for nice weather... .

I would think that $1. 65 pm is a real good price. By the time you pay around 4k for commerical ins. plus the cost of fuel and truck maintaince plus 2. 5 days out and the same comming back empty there isn't much left to call "profit". Just my $. 02 worth.

If hauling your own stuff, you don't need the commercial ins. [/QU

He's not hauling his own stuff. He's lookin for someone to haul it for him and thus the need for the comm. ins. I still think that $1. 65 pm is a good price. You can prob. get it done cheaper but will it make it in one piece??

Remember that cheapest isn't always best. Just my $. 02 worth.
