Auto does not want to shift into od unless i let up un the gas petal for a few seconds. Any answers? I do run large tires.

Mine is the same way. I like it like that. It won't shift to O/D under 38mph. It'll only shift to O/D from 38-45mph if I let off of the throttle for a moment. When I'm towing it'll hold 3rd until about 62mph with moderate throttle. Like having tow mode on all the time. If I remember right, changing that characteristic involves changing the valve body. My '95 auto was anxious to get into O/D. I like this one better.

in order to save transmission from burning out soon, you really shouldnt let the transmission shift into OD until about 50mph. it will really save wear and tear on the transmission if you run under 50mph with OD locked out. you may try cleaning the TPS, i am not sure if the 24v have one or not but it is known to get dirty on the 12v's
