Competition NHRDA races at Mission BC

I can't imagine pulling in high range. I think more stuff breaks that way. I ran drive a few times last year, but the transmission will downshift and then upshift at such at the end of the pull. So I'm going to "bump" Drive when I need it, but pull it back into 2 when it starts bogging. In "2" it won't shift at the end--but it does get sort of worrysome at mid track when you're tached out.

So I say use low range--2 or 3 depends on how much/size tire you're running and what the track is doing.

YPMV--your pull may vary. :D

low range,I tried the high side once and snapped my output shaft like a twig. I turn the O. D. off and run D with 4. 10's

Thanks!

Last time I pulled I went low low and then shifted when I realized it was topped out 1/4 the way down the track. It shifted into 2nd and took off like a rocket but was too far down the track to take full advantage of the shift up. Will try tonight. Thanks. DW
