I was just wondering if anyone has tried the lift pump from autozone. They are special order but the guy said they come with a life time warranty. Thanks

What kind of lift pump is it? The Carter, which comes on our trucks, or totally something else? What PSI of pressure does it provide?

Master Fuel Pumps

Hey guys , im a manager at an Advance Auto Parts store and master is one of the brand fuel pumps that we carry. The lift pump sold for our trucks by Autozone is also by master. If there could be any pump more failure prone than the ones on our trucks it would be a lift pump made by master. I hate to even sell a master fuel pump for any application. They are poorly made, are always noisier than OE and are always failing way before they should. So my advice would be to stick with the carter. If anyone else has any questions regarding brands before you buy let me know. Our particular store second sources a lot of brands that most Advance's or Autozone's dont carry so I get to see the durability and prices from various manufacturers. The information ive received from people on this board has more than paid for my subscription, and Id like to be able to give back to the board. Besides we dont need everyone shopping at Autozone :D

Aeromotive products are probably one of the most well built that are out on the market today. Its hard to find the quality workmanship that they use in their pumps. Ive used their pumps in several gas applications but have never tried it in diesel but im sure they wouldnt have any problems considering the craftsmanship of their pumps.

Aeromotive

I called them other day, seeing if they had been selling any for our

application, the guy reluctantly told me of one marine pump that might

work, but you could tell he was not touching recommending one specifically

for my truck with a 10 foot pole... Can't say I would really blame him, why

would he want to get mixed up in such a mess.
