I had them on my '99 and they worked fine. Had the exact same problems as the OEM ones, though, in that they always wore one pad faster than the other. However, the new calipers were at least 50% better than the old ones, even when I tried new pins on the old calipers. I think they were only 20-30 bucks too... not bad. I'm sure glad I don't have to mess with my 2G calipers anymore though, and hope the 3G brakes are all they're cracked up to be!

Anything autozone sells is junk unless it is made by moog/cardon/other big companies. There own brand batteries suck and their spark plug wires give off a good underhood light show...

Autozone probably farms rebuilds from an area builder. I've never been impressed with rebuilds other than mine.

I have always rebuilt calipers myself on every brake job. A quick polish with emery cloth on the bore and put in the $5 kit. Just make sure to lube all the parts with a clean finger and fresh brake fluid.

Man- I gotta get some of them for MY CTD! :D

Yeah, no kidding lol... but it's also funny because sell some of the same name brand wires that the more expensive places do. It's not the store's fault he bought the cheapest generic chinese wires that they sell only because 90% of the shadetree mechanics care more about price than quality.

Thanks for the replys, I went with NAPA Reman Calipers (unloaded), they were only $1. 00 more and my mechanic said they were good sooooo, it's a done deal.
