2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission automatic locks

How do i disable my '96 truck from locking the doors when i start the truck. My '97 never did this. Everytime i am out of the truck and go to get in the other side the stupid door is locked and then i have to walk around to the other side because the door locked when i last had it runnin. Matt

The "How to" is in your owners manual.

Cycle ignition switch on/off 4 times and listen for chime and then hit power lock button.

There is a thread on rolling locks in this forum.
