With the start of the low sulfate diesel now approaching we will most likely have a need to treat our fuel in order to increase the lubricity. This could become a tedious task that if neglected could be costly. I was thinking about the automatic oilers that are used on shop air compressors to extend tool life or the old alcohol dryer systems used on air brakes. What if we could find or make a product that would automatically disperse a metered amount of fuel stablizer/lubricant into our lines or filter housings as the motor runs. Perhaps this has already been thought of or done. Sounds like a simple concept do you think it has any potential.

The big rigs have a system that burns a metered amount of engine oil. The crankcase volume is maintained by a reservoir kept filled with new oil. It is supposed to constantly change your oil. I guess you must change the filter at regular intervals but not the crankcase for a long time. Would the introduction of the motor oil aid in fuel lubricity? If so maybe this would be a multi -tasking device easier to sell.
