Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Automatic to manual transmission conversion

Been thinking about this for a while, but what would be involved in converting

a 2002 SBQC 4WD from a 47RE to a 6-speed manual? Is this feasible?

Besides some of the more obvious changes, what about the ECM/PCM?

I have converted my auto to a five speed but the concept will be the same with both. You may be better off finding a wrecked truck and buying everything for the convertion since it will cost less that way. As fas as the ECM/PCM goes I still have my originals and they works fine but have lost my cruise and am thing of replacing both. If you have any other questions just send a PM. Andrew
