HEY GUYS

NEED SOME HELP ! I HAVE AN 01 AND THE TRANS IS SLIPPING IN ALL GEARS AND CHADDER AT LOW RPM IN 3RD AND OVERDRIVE ! THE TRUCK IS STILL UNDER FACTORY WARRANTY SO I WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP THEY THINK THE FRONT CLUTCH IS GOING OUT. OTHERS SAY THE STALL IS GOING OUT. THE DEALERSHIP WANT TO REBUILD THE TRANS . IS THIS RIGHT OR SHOULD THE TRANS & STALL BE REPLACED ? WHAT IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO ? ANY INFO IS OF GREAT HELP !!! THANKS TO ALL

Since its still under warranty I'd let the dealer fix it. They have the tools and instruments to be able to tell whats wrong with it. Besides until your happy they have to fix it right. :D

They may say rebuild, but most just order a reman from DC and swap. I would demand this instead of a inhouse if they are doing an inhouse. Not many dealers have a "good" trans guy.
