Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Automatic Transmission

My 1998 24V 2500's transmission has started to downshift for no apparent reason. It will do it with or without OD engaged. Fluid level is normal. Is there a transmission shop in the Atlanta to Daytona Beach area that members can recommend. I live in Southeast Georgia.

Is it down-shifting or is the torque converter locking and unlocking?
