I've got autometer sport comp guages,
EGT# ATM-3365 & Boost# ATM-3304. They came with red and green bulb covers. Would like to know how the blue bulb covers work before I order some. Or, do they make a blue bulb? I've searched www.Summitracing.com , and their catalog but don't see any. I thought a TDR member had bought blue bulbs for their sport comps, but can't find the thread.
One bulb has gone out already #ad
after only 2 months in service. Hopefully the autoparts store will have some. Little help. Thanks.

Lordsman,

I don't like the bulb condoms. They dull the light too much. Do your gauges use the 194 bulb. The ones that push in?

I had Blue Victor Mood Bulbs #194 from Pep Boys like Deezul Doug in my Autometer gauges fo a while. They looked GREAT. They didn't stay blue for very long. They turned a lime green. I guess the heat did it. They were nice & bright though. They didn't look bad green either.

I got some APC Blue #194 bulbs from Jegs. They supposedly use a colored glass that will stay blue. Popped them in but they seem dull. Not very bright. Maybe I just have to get used to them.

I did notice a very small brown burn on the white plastic gauge housing from the heat of the bulb. Not much of one, but something worth noting.

Try Pep Boys store.

They have blue 'mood lites' that will fit your gauges, and they burn down to almost OEM shade of lite.
