Autometer C2 and Cobalt series

I love the Autometer C2 and Cobalt line of gauges.



Do any of our diesel vendors carry them and can they be had with a 50psi boost gauge?

Diesel Site carries them. All I have found is the 35 psi boost gauge. They are pricey too, around 200 bucks a gauge.

"Diesel Site"? Never heard of them and can't find them on the internet



Auto Meter says later on down the road it's likely they'll do a 50psi gauge, but no estimate on when that will happen. Fortunately boost gauges are not that expensive and the 35psi gauge (which Autometer says they have) will suffice since I probably won't be BOMBing that high for quite awhile. When I'm ready for more than 35psi the 50 or 60psi gauges should be available.



Autometer said they have a different movement in the C2 and Cobalt series where if you overboost your gauge it's not going to tweak it like you can the others.

www.dieselsite.com is the main page and www.diselsitetoo.com is their online store. Diesel Site is a "thedieselstop" site started by one of their members, but they sell parts for all 3 and they have the C2 and Cobalt series gauges.

Haven't priced the C2 series but the Cobalts are exspensive.



I like'em both. I think the Pyrometer comes with the "cheaper" probe though.



I'm pondering trying the Cobalt Pyro & transmission Temp, then ussing Dakota Digital boost and fuel pressure.

The Cobalt pyro is cheaper there than what I paid for my Ulta-Lite pyro. But why is the boost gauge so mega expensive? It must be electric I'll have to call them and ask if they carry the 35psi mechanical or if they only do electric for the boost gauge. Only paid 30 or 40-something for my last boost gauge.

I called Autometer and the boost gauges are electric, but are supposed to be a lot more precise than the mechanical.

the entire C2 and cobalt series is electrical only. but also, all their gauges in the series are full sweep iirc [270°]

Cobalt series

I know summit racing sells cobalt but I'm not sure about C2. I know they beat most places prices on the sport comps. And they usually have everything in stock or can get it to ya fast if they don't. If you call your better off than Net orders.
