I'd like to know if anyone has had any problems with theirs, and how they like it. Also any thoughts about the install that you'd do differently? I was thinking about putting the sensor by the VP44, rather than by the filter.

Thanks,

Al

I have the autometer eletric fuel pressure gauge, I like it , its accurate and nicely set up with its own module to attach all the wires, and sending unit. Installation was simple and straight foward.

With all those good points the only bad thing was the price, get your wallet ready and have a seat, but I guess its like they say : you get what you pay for , oh and so far no problems.

Don't have the Autometer FP.........

But I wouldn't hook any near the VP44. The shocks can kill senders. They make pressure snubbers but be prepared to spend a few more $. Get the tapped banjo bolts and go to the bottom of the fuel filter. Works great so far for me.

Yeah, what he said. Mount it remotely from the engine or injection pump. I have my sending unit connected with a Parker fuel line to the Schraeder valve on the injection pump. It has lasted me over 6 months now. But, this is my second one. The first one blew out the sending unit, somehow. I got a refund from Summit, they refused to replace it. I bought this one from www.carparts.com
