Those who have it do, you remember if you got the kit part #2654 or did you buy the guage separately (#2653) from the probe. The kit comes with 8. 5' of wire, is that long enough?

Got the kit

Yes the 8. 5' K-type wire is long enough. The thermocouple wire goes to a converter box to convert the thermocouple output to a gauge driving voltage. So, you can run as much wire as you want from the box to your gauge. No Problem.

I got the 2654 kit too. With the guage in the cubby hole in the center of the dash, the wire routes to the left, thru the firewall and then across the top of the firewall to the exhaust elbow. Plenty long enough.
