Autometer Pyrometer

[Magnum Express]

I am currently installing a pyrometer in my truck and the instructions say to hook red wire to 12+. should this wire be to switched or unswitched? Any help would be appreciated.

I hooked mine up to a switched wire with a

fuse tap. I don,t know if it really matters.

it works.

If you hooked it up to a unswitched power line. The gage will be on all the time. Go with a switched circuit.
