Where do you find these locally? I'd like to match up the ones for the Rail pressure ends.

What about the tools for these? I could repair the one I have for the rail gauge. naturally I need to pop it apart and replace the ends and re-assemble.

I'm not sure of the specific connectors you are talking about but I would suggest you try your local Cummins dealer. My local dealer here has been great about looking up parts and finding me what I need. If it is attached to the engine they can get it.

Not a bad idea. . thank you!

Not sure which type of plug you are looking at, but if they are like the plugs on my 97 where the male end plugs into the female and there is a green ribbed rubber gasket around them to keep out moisture, with a snap that keeps the two halfs togeather, you can get them from Wyteck. I forgot what they are called but I looked for them for months until I found them.

I want the ones specific to the rail pressure sensor on my 3rd gen.

Dipricol wants $70 or so for a "replacement". but that' an entire harness, and I think the guy there didn't understand that I just wanted the 2 connectors and 6 inches of wire on each end so I can splice things in. There was a language barrier there and I decided I didn't wanna deal with it. .

Well, I got a day off next week. I'm going to find an electroincs store in the MSP area and see if they can repair the diprocol ends.

I have spent a lot of time searching for automotive 'pigtail' connectors trying to find the types used on our trucks and also found on aftermarket harnesses that plug into our truck harnesses. The reality of finding these connectors is one in a million so far. There has to be a company that sells them as 'raw materials' but I have yet to find them. If anyone knows of a connector manufacturer or supplier of this stuff, I would greatly appreciate the information.

I do know that DELPHI is one of the manufacturers of them, by navigating their stuff is a true nightmare.

Wytec does not have them. BUT . .

WAYTEK Does. Waytek Wire : Electrical Wiring Supplies & Industrial Products

(select) category - connectors - multi pin

(select) sub-category - Packard 280 series metri-pack

These are the raw materials to build your connectors, so you will have to select how many contacts you need in the plug/receptacle and then based on wire guage you plan to use, you then select the rest of the parts to build your connector. Includes all that is needed to build a really nice, professional contact/plug together.
