Howling and whining Boost leak?

Turbo Replacement

I am putting a aux fuel tank in my 05( a toolbox- fuel tank) and was wanting to hook it up the same way I did in my 2000. On that truck I wired in a 6-port switching valve, (supply and return for each tank) and wired it in to the factory gauge. And had a switch in the cab to switch from main tank to aux. And all was good, but now I have heard that the new 05 have a fuel pump in the tank. So if this is true it would make things more difficult, because I would now need a pump in the aux tank. So my question is, is there a pump in the factory tank on the 05?

Question 2

I have a edge juice with attitude on my 05, I installed it myself, and must say I really like it. But got to thinking this afternoon after watching TWO GUYS Garage, they were putting on a TST box. In there installation they showed a new turbo wastegate elbow ( I would guess that it is the samething as what came with my edge box for my 2000) a piece to build my boost pressure? Anyway I was wondering if my 05 boost (wastegate) was controlled different because my juice with attitude never came with a elbow and it still will reach almost 40 psi.

Thanks for all your input, this site is awesome, I have learned a lot of the past few years and now finally became a member!

Yes the pump is in the tank in the '05 and up trucks. This system is going to replace the older 3rd gen systems when they fail.

I can't answer your Edge question accurately, but I would guess the wastegate is controlled by the Edge box somehow.

The wastegate on the 04. 5 600 and up is electronically controlled. I assume the Juice is controlling/fooling the ECM to allow the higher boost. I can hit a little over 40psi with my Juice on 80hp or above. I could hit 43psi with the Quad XZillaraider Race box.

The TST install on a 600 up has tubing and parts to bypass the electronic solenoid and covert to a manual wastegate it looks like.
