I'm thinking of fabricating an auxillary fuel tank to go where the spare tire is now located.
I would plan on just using the existing lift pump with a selector value (like a Ford valve
) to select each tank and fuel sender.
I would like to hear form other TDR members who have done this. I'd be particularly interested in a discussion on any problems with this type of installation; any problems with using the factory lift pump; or adding an inline fuel filter. Also, where did you put the filler neck?
