OK, with diesel prices getting higher - and the recent addition of Kentucky to my sales territory - I am looking into an aux. fuel tank.

At this time, I am reluctant to go with one in the bed, as my short box, tonneau covered bed is already short enough.

Do I recall an issue with a tank that was installed under the truck, right next to the original? Did it actually replace the original?

Anyone have any experience with these?

The fuel difference between $1. 71 in PA and $1. 45 in Kentucky make this a pretty quick payoff.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

YOU might try Transfer Flow I believe they make a replacement tank for your truck and maybe one to where the spare is.

Transfer Flow

I have a transfer flo tank in my garage waiting to be installed. With the price of diesel around here, I may just drive over to the central valley to fill it up!

We have a couple of Transfer Flow tanks in our work trucks (Furd F450s) and love them with the automatic transfer pump setups. We also have a refueling 100gal tank for topping off generators and it's great as well. Top quality construction, great customer service, not a bad thing to say in my experience.
