Aux Tanks for Short Box CTD?

I just started checking out Aux tanks for my 03 CTD Short Box. Wanted to see what you Short Box guys have for aux tanks /or tank/toolbox combo and how you like them. Don't really know how big of tank I want, but would like to have 50-70 gallon range tank.



Any suggestions? I would like to be able to have a aux tank or/toolbox. tank combo that would fit under the bed cover.

I have an RDS 41 gallon tank/tool box combo that works good for me. The tool box is large enough to hold tie downs and gloves and crap like that.

I havone from Auxiliary tank in Frisco Tx. It is a 40 gallon tank with a single lid toolbox top. I like it. The toolbox isn't too big and it keeps me from "loosing" stuff in the bottom of it.

EDIT: Forgot to say that this tank works off of a switch. You draw from this tank separately and the tank level will read on your factory fuel gauge.

Did you install the tank yourself? How much work is it and how long did it take you?

It took me about 4 hours, but I was going slow and steady since I was dealing with fuel lines. It is not hard to do with the kit and instructions they provide. I had them powder coat the tank for me.

guys, do the boxes you have come up over the bed? is it ok to install them under a roll top like the pace edwards?

Mine does not come above the bed rails. I don't know if it would be low enough to clear a roll top, but it might be.
