I had AERO tanks install their 60 gal. replacement tank 4 1/2 years ago, love it no problems.
Some of the reasons that I had AERO install it; 1- installation price was right. 2- factory was only about 40 mi. from my wife’s brother’s house (this would justify a visit), 3- (most important) they said that if I installed it the warranty was 1 year, if they installed it the warranty was 2 years. 4- shipping costs would be about half of what their installation fee was.
I would just add that if you install ANY BRAND REPLACEMENT tank, replace the fuel pickup/sending unit when the tank is off the truck. This will probably save you labor costs to do it a couple of years down the road anyway. Then keep the original fuel pickup/sending unit as a spare.
