Im adding Aux turn signals to my 04. 5 in the air dam in the front. My question is in the Chilton's book lighting system it has the park/turn signal lamp both right and left the common color is a GRN both going to the front control module. Then the left park/turn signal has a fused PINK/PPL going to a park lamp relay the right park/turn signal has a fused BLK/YEL with a tap going to what I think would be the cab marker light for a 3500. both park/turn signals have a BLK/BLU ground. My question is where do I get the power tap for my Aux turn signals the fused side of the park/turn signal or the side coming form the control module. I haven't been under the truck with a test lamp so I thought I would put it out and see who could help me out. Thanks for your help in advance BIGNASTY

KISS

Just tap both wires of the turn signal bulbs... the power and ground, and run wires to the new bulbs. dont ground the new bulbs. everything is closed circuit... did this with my aux fog lights on my 2nd gen

The Dodge Body Builder's Guide contains info on wiring extra lights into the system. You need Adobe Acrobat to see the document. I don't know if the 04. 5 uses the Front Control Module or Integrated Body Module or whatever they were calling the computer controlled lights. If you truck has a LAMP OUT indicator then it's completely different from a 2nd gen.
