Yes I have. I have 12v in my tool box. Didn't tap in any where. I ran a positive and a negative wire right to the left side battery with a 35 amp fuse.
You could tap into the 7 pin RV trailer connector to get power, or simply make cord that plugs into the 7 pin connector with the other end connected to what-ever you are trying to power. See http://www.klenger.net/dodge/7-pin-connector-installation/index.html for drawings of the trailer connector.
Thanks for the advice. I mounted the plug in the same place that you mounted your 7 pin connector and hooked up to the 'trailer battery' wire. Now I have a 12v plug with continues power and a 20 amp fuse. Oo.
