I'm in the process of designing an auxillary fuel tank to be mounted on the bed. I've sourced a tank and was curious to see what folks have been using for a transfer pump to feed the main tank. I was going to feed the main tank via a "T" in the vent hose on the filler neck. Also possible is the idea of making it a redundant fuel system to supply the VP44 in an emergency situation. I currently have the stock LP in the stock location until the warrentee expires next month. I have a Vulcan relocation kit ready to go after that. Anyone else have a set up like this?

I just got my Aux tank from Northern Tool, I aslo ordered the gravity feed kit($69. 00) with it.

Click on one of the tanks and then open up the accessories, the feed kit is in there. .

Really simple install, the kit comes with a lever shut off valve, you can leave it open all the time or open only when you want to transfer fuel to the trucks main tank. I just leave it open and it works great.

Took my awhile to stop thinking my fuel gauge was broke, stay's on full a long time now

I use a diesel transfer pump that is rated to like 15gpm (can't remember now). I "T"d into the fill tube on the primary tank. Works great. 2k+ range!!!!!
