The Piaas are of the driving pattern. I am unhappy with the light displacement and pattern. My low lights are better than the Piaas. Collectively they are better, as the Piaas fill in the center of the OEM beam.

Thanks for the info, I have tried 540 driving beam in the fog location and get the same results. I tinted the top 1/2 of the lens, downgraded the bulb and aimed them as low as possible while still being useful but without a "top cutoff" they are not good for the other drivers so changes will be made for me again in the lighting department.

I am disappointed that you are having issues with the Piaa lights, i thought they were among the best. My Cibie Tango yellow fogs and Marcheal Charlie drives are awesome. . very aimable... fill in where the headlights can't touch. On one trip I lowered the drives just a bit for on coming traffic and got very few flashes from the other side of the freeway, but up in the full tilt position I got to turn them off. I leave the headlights in low beam and have a switch just for the drives... the fogs use the Dodge switch... works really well. There are some tricks to aiming these lights and the site I mentioned above does a good job with lots of good info. Happy New Year! PJ

One thing for sure is I doubt I would buy another Parabolic Reflector lamp with the availability of good high quality Free-Form & Projectors out there.

Currently I have 55w FF Hella's on a Jeep that easily out perform a pair of 130w KC's on my truck.

Its easy with a light bar to supplement the highs, supplementing the lows is more of a challenge when giving consideration for the other drivers and the law.

I am contemplating these in a low beam in my fog location aimed as a low beam.

With its sharp cut-off and wide beam it is possible this lamp could serve double duty as an auxiliary low beam AND fog lamp.

Well gentlemen, still NO word from Bob Wagner or Marco on the Euro driving lights.

I HAVE just scored a pair of the LS430 HID projectors with ballasts and bulbs in excellent condition off craigslist. Looks like it's going to be JKloppes -- https://www.turbodieselregister.com...-transmission-discussions/191334-how-hid.html for my low beams, and then the 135w KC 6" Daylighters for high beams on the UTE. I also still plan on putting in the Warn SDB160-HBE for dual fog/driving in the fog location. All will work with the factory switches (of course with relays and upgraded wiring) and an additionional 2way switch to select beteen fog and driving with the Warns. I am just SO TIRED of not being able to see safely at night!!!! This whole project is going to be incredibly expensive, but I am confident that it will get the job done and look just the way I want it too. Story and pics to come in February, after the bathroom remodel is DONE!!Oo.
