thanks. cluckmaster.

Ya, could be bad fuel, could be bad injector pump or just a clogged filter. Do you have gauges? If so fuel pressure? How meny miles? Where are you? If you have tools try cracking a fuel like at the injector pump and bump the starter. If you have fuel there, try cracking a fuel line at one injector. If you have fuel there it may be a crank sensor. Any check engine light??? Any after market mods????

He cracked the injector lines at the injectors and got fuel. Tightened it back up and truck started up and stayed running. No gauges/ no mods other than straight pipe. Thanks.

If I were you I would get at least a fuel pressure gauge ASAP. You may have a small leak that is causing you to loose prime. Or you may be loosing a lift pump or vp44. Really hard to say with out testing fuel pressure. How long did it run after you opened the injector line? I would at least make sure that the lift pump is working so you don't damage the vp44 if you haven't already. Good luck, and let us know what you find out.
