It's a little chrome propeller thingy that he stole off someone's trailer hitch--right on the end of the exhaust. Then put the spinners on his wheels. then put baseball cards on the spinners like we used to do with our bikes back when we were kids in the early 60's

Whee!!! Oo. Oo.

Let me guess, you are gonna route them into the fuel tank for better fuel pressure, or how about out the front bumper to front smoke people at red lights, your an idiot.....

Say no to stacks and other stupid dual piping ideas on an inline motor. .

Since you are so worried about weight wouldnt you want single piping...

Am I crazy? Some Semi's have dual stacks... aren't they inline-6's?

if you want to get technical about it even v configeration diesels should only be single stack then. i mean both manifolds go to drive one turbo. 1 turbo means 1 down pipe. right? besides dual stacks looks cool to me.

No no, he's going to use the exhaust to fill one of those giant Santa Clause inflatables mounted in the bed. "Ho ho ho!"

well ill let my plan go now. You guys know how i have a rollpan bumper right? well i went on my mastercam program from the shop and drew my bumper and decided to have my exhaust (dual 4" pipes. ) come out the bumper and run flush with the pan. This is going to require some lathe and mill work to be able to run perfect with my bumper. Im going to make and adapter the goes on the bumper to recieve the 4" piping for the smooth looking effect. Then i will have the bumper painted patriot blue like my truck :) Hard to explain exactly what i mean but im gonna start on it whenever i have some time. (76 hrs of work next week and mid terms :( ) it will be done asap :)

a la early mustang - you have seen those right? You might want to consider putting some flex pipe in the system near the back so that if you get rear ended you won't put stress on the back of the turbo.

Yea, and airtabs up the sides of the bed to help with all the soot swirling around back there

nah, the truck will just get a nice new pat. blue fade to flat black paint [soot :-laf] job... i thought about doing that on my tahoe when i had her, but a little differently. i was going to use 4" pipe and french them into the lower half of the bumper about 50% in, so they still stuck out the bottom, but only 2" of it... for the 88-98 chevy body style, you could buy bumpers/rollpans that had the cut outs already in them. i think the style was called "mongo" in the older sport truck mag ad's

Awe... ... ... . ya ruined the thread by spill'in the beans. You guys were killing me with your guessing game :-laf Best thread I have read in forever :D

Not sure if you have the sliding rear window option, but if so, fumes in the cab when it's open would be a possibility.

Honestly, I think it would look great! Don't know what the soot would do or wereit would attach itself to. But as far as looks go, I think you've got a great idea... Best of luck on the major overtime and the books...
