Catastrophic Tire Failure.........

Need Route advice

Both of my camper's axles have noticeable postive camber (I've not measured the amount). I suspect this must have existed since the axles were installed, as I've not jacked the camper up by the center of the axles or run into anything with them. Has anybody else seen this on their camper?

Thanks,

Steve

This is normal. They are manufactured with this built in. However the guess and by golly way they go about it is hit and miss. They try to get a happy medium setting to average empty/loaded miles. If you are empty more then loaded or loaded more then empty the tire wear is substantial. Since the axle builders have no idea who is going to buy which axle and install it what type of trailer this built in camber is marginal at best.
