Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Holy cow when a bearing grease seal goes what a mess. Had to make a pit stop at a local shop today. Also was hearing a slight pining noise. Thought maybe that was related to the bearing problem. I had him ride with me to figure out where that pinging was coming from. He says" yer dahm turbo so loud can't a dahm ting".
So I drive it into the shop and pull the wheel off and pound on the brake drum to get it off. Grease massacure I tell ya. Well they install a new grease seal and check a few other things out. He also spent an genourous amount of time cleaning that crap out. The ping noise appears to be coming from the U joint. That gets fixed next weak though.
