Ok,
So I am looking at upgrading the auto in my 99. I have not decided what to put in yet but no matter what there will be more torque going to the rear axle. Both forward, and reverse with an exhaust brake. I already regret getting the auto on so many levels. Yet another issue I have thought about is the Dana 70. I know that this is an undersized pinion and I am wondering if it will stand up to the new amount of torque with the new trany? Especially when I start to upgrade the engine which will surely happen...
Has anyone had trouble with their Dana 70's after an upgrade?
Oh, or the transfer case? I guess I am starting to worry about how far I can go with this truck and whether it is worth it to keep putting money in it?
Thanks again,
