2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Axle Truss?

Does anyone know of a manufacturer of axle trusses for our trucks? I am straightening my front axle and want to reinforce it. I can't seem to find them any more.

Axle Truss

I purchased one for my '99 - - First from 4 Wheel Parts Wholesaler, and after 3 weeks and they didn't deliver I called the factory and they put me on to another dealer, also in SoCal. Call ConFer at 810. 848. 6993 and I think they will head you in the right direction.

I don't think you will find one off the shelf for anything with an axle disconnect.

What difference would that make? The axle disconnect is up and out of the way on the top of the axle.

More on truss

Don't think disconnect makes a difference, I held the one I bought for the '99 up to the '01 and it looks like it will fit. Will probably install it when I put the winch and bumper on.

The way the axles are built(3 sections of tube)I am not so sure that a standard design truss is the best way to go.

Bob has a point. That pulling down on the ends and up on the pumpkin could pull the right side down at the disconnect. causing a reverse arch on the right side.
