I am with you guys on that. I just don't think it is a bad u joint. It only rumble under acceleration and deceleration. The bearing clicks and I really hope that it is the bearing. I would think the joints would make the tires turn rougher when turned in any direction. Not really sure, and I hate throwing parts at things in order to try and fix stuff. I did order a new hub assembly (199. 00) with free shipping, so hopefully that cures it. I am supposed to leave on Monday for LEave and dealerships all wanted 350. 00+ for the unit bearing. It really is a crappy design, but what do you do. I am not forking over almost 2K right now to do the free spin kit, so this is what I am stuck with. Scotty

Well I installed the new unit bearing on Saturday and took the truck for a test drive. It took care of all the vibration but one. When I am slowing to stop, it still had some driveline vibration. I jumped under the truck and felt the u joints in the rear driveshaft, well the middle one was so hot, I almost burned my hand. Well, I tried to call every parts place under the sun, and nobody had one in stock, so since I am in transit to Upstate NY, I called my father to order one from NAPA (part number 351A, $38. 00). So once I get up there, I will change it out, and maybe just change all three of them while I am in there to the greasable joint. I would feel better to be able to put grease in them. Anyhow, thanks for all the help. Scotty
