I also went with custom leafs. Mine are 6" over, 8 leafs, and still rated at 3/4 ton. I don't miss the spine crushing overload at all.



Got 'em custom made at Alcan Springs in Grand Junction, CO. Very reasonable prices, half the $ of quotes I got out of So Cal.



No more axle wrap! At least now I can't detect it.

My truck is lifted. They are 3 inches higher than stock... . Blocks are 5 inches so thats were you get the 8 inch overstock springs. I'm running the D45 spring in the front... Load rating is a little higher than factory since I retained an overload spring.

EB- How do you like the 5100 Bils with your new springs? I have 'em on the front, but can't decide what to get for the back so I still have the stockers.

First, they look really good! I have not had any problems with the rear shocks. I would say they are not sloppy like the stock shocks They are def heavy duty
